The Classic goes way back to 1985, when David Wong and friends gathered on the last Sunday of September to run this beautiful route and celebrate the end of summer.

The route is spectacular!. It crosses through one of the most scenic and well-visited parks in BC, Garibaldi Park. The stunning route begins by taking runners up the many switchbacks on the Cheakmaus Lake trail. Following this, runners will go through the idyllic, flower-filled meadows of Taylor Creek, past the once volcanic Black Tusk and down to the glistening shores of Garibaldi Lake.

With its spectacular views and rich history, it's one not to be missed! The race sold out on the same day in 2023, spots are limited to 100 racers.
